Sometimes all it takes is a bit of courage to present a simple, “dumb” idea.
The collapsible cup has been around since at least the mid 19th century — with examples from the American Civil War regularly appearing at auction. It’s ingenious, resourceful and just happens to resemble Frank Lloyd Wright’s design for the original Guggenheim Museum on New York City’s Fifth Avenue.
Happily, customer response was enthusiastic, and the initial production run sold out almost immediately.
